From Breakup to Breakthrough

Guiding you through divorce, separation, and heartbreak so you can heal, grow, and step into the love and life you deserve.

👋

Hi I'm Kassandra

I work with people navigating the pain of breakups, separations, or divorces who feel stuck and unsure how to move forward.

I know what it’s like to grieve the end of a relationship while questioning your worth and identity, I’ve been there myself. That’s why I combine 12+ years of clinical social work experience with certified coaching tools to help you calm the storm, break free from rumination, and rediscover the confident, grounded version of you.

A bit about me

I’ve been through the pain of divorce myself, and I know how disorienting it can feel to lose your sense of self in a relationship. That experience inspired me to help others move from heartbreak and self-blame to healing and growth.

With over 12 years as a clinical social worker and advanced training in coaching and trauma recovery, I blend compassion with proven tools. My work is about creating a safe space where you can calm the chaos, reclaim your identity, and move forward with confidence.

Coaching doesn’t have

to feel overwhelming

Here’s how we’ll move forward together, step by step.

1

Start with a Conversation

We begin with a safe, judgment-free session to explore what you’re going through and what you hope to change.

2

Heal & Break Old Patterns

Together, we work through the pain of heartbreak while uncovering the cycles that keep repeating, so you can finally let them go.

3

Rebuild with Confidence

Together, we’ll rebuild your identity, set healthy boundaries, and create a future that feels true to you, so you can move forward with confidence and hope.

Breakup, separation, or divorce, I’ll help you heal and rebuild stronger.

You Don’t Have to Go Through This Alone

What my clients say...

"Kassandra helped me through a very difficult time in my life"

Even though we lived on opposite sides of the country she met with me over the phone regularly and guided me through my thoughts and challenges.

Talking to her was easy and a safe place for me. It has been difficult to find a good fit, to be able to speak openly with another person that way. She always asked the right questions that gave me my own answers.

I am forever grateful for the time she made for me and getting me through one of the hardest challenges I've ever had to go through."

- Natalie

"Thank you, Kassandra, for invigorating my self belief.

I'm forever grateful for your support"

Before working with Kassandra, I had compartmentalized a lot of my life so that everyone could have their ideal version of me. It was exhausting and unsustainable

Kassandra helped me put in place actionable steps to gently refocus my life so that I can be in control at the centre and remove people pleasing from my coping mechanisms.

Thank you, Kassandra, for invigorating my self belief. I'm forever grateful for your support.

If you are curious about working with Kassandra, know that you will be in great hands as she helps you get to the root of your concern in a kind and compassionate way with thoughtful and impactful steps that bring simplicity to your life.”

"She was very easy to talk with and respected my feelings"

I had the opportunity to work with Kassandra in the past when I was going through a difficult time in my life. She was very easy to talk with and respected my feelings. She helped me to work through some of my concerns, and to help me with my future goals.

I have reached out to talk to her after our time and she has always been there to talk with me. I am grateful to have found her. If I am in need of help again, I would not hesitate to contact her again.

FAQ

What is coaching?

Coaching is a collaborative process between the client and the coach. Each session is unique to the individual and their specific goals. While there is no set-in-stone structure, it is standard for the coach to discuss the primary issues and concerns in your life.

It is recommended that when coaching is first started that the client schedule regular weekly sessions with each session, lasting approximately 50 minutes. Coaching can be short term, focusing on a specific issue, or longer term, addressing more complex issues or ongoing personal growth.

Coaches do not work from a medical model of diagnosing patients’ mental health disorders and/or prescribing treatment. Instead, we value a trauma-informed, wellness and relational model approach and collaboration with clients to help them learn and develop skills that will support them in reaching their stated goals.

What’s the difference between therapy and coaching?

• Therapy helps you heal from the past. It focuses on processing pain, trauma, and mental health challenges. A therapist is licensed, can diagnose, and uses evidence-based treatments to support emotional recovery.

• Coaching helps you move forward. It focuses on goals, confidence, and creating change in the present and future. A coach doesn’t diagnose or treat mental illness — instead, they provide guidance, accountability, and tools to help you grow.

How often should I see my coach?

The coaches are at Healing Me After We are different from other coaches in that we schedule each client on a session-by-session basis instead of offering coaching packages. We believe that resolving and recovering from heartbreak cannot be guaranteed to happen in the span of a 3 or 6 month coaching package (as is the standard for other coaches and their clients). To that end, you and your practitioner can develop a plan for how often to see each other based on your needs, your budget, and your schedule.

While we do not prescribe that a client must come for “x” amount of sessions over “x” length of time, we find that if it works in a client’s budget and schedule, scheduling weekly coaching sessions for (at least) the first couple months can be helpful. These weekly sessions can provide a sense of stability and consistency in working on issues surrounding heartbreak and abandonment. After the first few months, clients may opt to space their sessions out to every other week or every few weeks which can be discussed with the individual coach.

How do I know if coaching is right for me?

If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or notice the same relationship patterns repeating, coaching can give you the tools, support, and perspective to heal and move forward with confidence.

Do you offer packages or programs like other coaches?

No. While it is not uncommon for many coaches to offer programs lasting a specific amount of time for a set price, we have found it ineffective to offer this option due to the nature of trauma and healing. There is no minimum or maximum amount of sessions you are required to do with your practitioner and your input in this process is valuable.

We encourage each practitioner-client team to decide on a plan that is based on the client’s needs. We encourage all clients to let their practitioner know if they want to increase or decrease time in-between sessions, want to take a break, or end coaching altogether.

Do you take insurance?/Can I get insurance to pay for my sessions?

Currently, we do not accept insurance. We encourage people to check with their insurance provider(s) to determine if coaching is a service that is covered in their plan. In the case that coaching is a covered service, we can provide you with a detailed invoice or super bill which can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please note: in the case that your insurance company will cover coaching services, you will still be required to pay for your services up front and you will work directly with your insurance provider for reimbursement.

Additionally, there are some places of employment that offer health savings accounts (HSA) or flex spending accounts (FSA) to pay for various physical and mental health related services. To this end, if an individual, couple or family has a HSA or Flex plan, it is possible, depending on the terms of this plan, to use these monies to pay for coaching. Again, make sure to check with your HSA or FSA provider to ensure that coaching sessions qualify for reimbursement. Should they qualify, an invoice can be requested at the end of each coaching session.

Is this confidential?

Since coaching is a newer field in the mental health and wellness world, there are no specific guidelines and requirements around confidentiality. However, the coaches at the Healing Me After We value and emulate the parameters of confidentiality set forth by therapeutic licensing boards and will abide by confidentiality mandates in their work as coaches. To this end, confidentiality of all communications between a coach and the client are protected. No information is disclosed without prior written permission from the client. However, there are some exceptions required by law to this rule.

Exceptions include:

1. Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse. The coach will report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.

2. If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person. The coach is required to notify the police.

3. If a client intends to harm himself or herself. The coach will make every effort to work with the individual to ensure their safety. However, if an individual does not cooperate, additional measures may need to be taken.

Do I need to be "ready" before starting?

No, you just need to be willing! Even if you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure, coaching gives you a safe space to start where you are and take small, steady steps toward change.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can easily book online by going to Get started. Here you will fill out a quick form and book your first session.

What is your cancellation policy?

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy meaning that if you are unable to attend your session we ask for a 24 hour notice in order to avoid paying our cancellation fee which is the full fee of your session. We recognizing that extraordinary/extenuating circumstances do happen; if this is the case, please discuss this with your practitioner to determine whether or not charging the cancellation fee is appropriate. We find that the cancellation policy both honors the work our practitioners do and the time they carve out to work with you individually and we know that when there is a cost we often prioritize it in our schedules. The cancellation fee is an extra incentive to help you prioritize the work that you are doing and your own self care.

How much does coaching cost? And why?

My coaching sessions are $160 per hour. This rate reflects not only my specialized coaching training but also my background as a licensed therapist. That means you’re getting structured, forward-focused coaching combined with the depth of insight and professional expertise I bring from years of therapeutic practice.
