I know how painful it feels to go through a breakup, separation, or divorce, the grief, the self-doubt, the endless “what ifs.” I’ve been there myself, and I understand how overwhelming it can be.
Today, I combine my personal experience with 12+ years as a clinical social worker and certified coach to help others move through heartbreak with compassion, clarity, and hope. My work is about more than “moving on”, it’s about reclaiming your identity, building self-trust, and creating a life that feels aligned with who you are now.

My coaching is grounded in both personal experience and extensive professional training:
Coaching Certifications:
Certified Life Coach – Express Coaching, ICF-approved program (2013–2014)
Certified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician – 2025
Therapy & Trauma Training:
DBT Skills Training (Abbreviated Track) – 2021
Emotion-Focused Individual Therapy – Level 1 & Level 2 (2022)
EMDR Basic Training – 2022
Education:
Bachelor of Social Work – University of Calgary (2007)
Masters of Social Work – University of Calgary (2009–2013)
I completed my training, built my practice, and did everything a “good coach” should.

Many of my clients came to me after breakups or divorces not just to “move on,” but to finally break free from repeating patterns.
Together, we focus on:
Healing heartbreak with compassion and support
Breaking unhealthy patterns that keep repeating
Rebuilding confidence for a stronger future
Healing after a breakup, separation, or divorce isn’t just about “moving on.” It’s about understanding the patterns that keep repeating, releasing the pain that weighs you down, and building the confidence to step into something healthier.
…not just to help you “get over it,” but to help you break free
from old cycles and rebuild on stronger ground.
Here’s what I believe creates true transformation:
Healing doesn’t happen by ignoring the pain or rushing into something new. It begins when you slow down, feel what’s really there, and start to recognize the patterns that keep repeating. Awareness opens the door to real change.
Confidence isn’t about pretending you’re fine. It’s about rebuilding your self-respect, honoring your needs, and choosing relationships that reflect your true value. When you hold strong boundaries and practice self-love, confidence grows naturally.
True freedom comes when you no longer let the past dictate your future. With clarity and support, you can release old cycles, rewrite your story, and step into healthier, more fulfilling connections — both with yourself and others.

You Don’t Have to Go Through This Alone
"Kassandra helped me through a very difficult time in my life"
Even though we lived on opposite sides of the country she met with me over the phone regularly and guided me through my thoughts and challenges.
Talking to her was easy and a safe place for me. It has been difficult to find a good fit, to be able to speak openly with another person that way. She always asked the right questions that gave me my own answers.
I am forever grateful for the time she made for me and getting me through one of the hardest challenges I've ever had to go through."

"Thank you, Kassandra, for invigorating my self belief.
I'm forever grateful for your support"
Before working with Kassandra, I had compartmentalized a lot of my life so that everyone could have their ideal version of me. It was exhausting and unsustainable
Kassandra helped me put in place actionable steps to gently refocus my life so that I can be in control at the centre and remove people pleasing from my coping mechanisms.
Thank you, Kassandra, for invigorating my self belief. I'm forever grateful for your support.
If you are curious about working with Kassandra, know that you will be in great hands as she helps you get to the root of your concern in a kind and compassionate way with thoughtful and impactful steps that bring simplicity to your life.”

"She was very easy to talk with and respected my feelings"
I had the opportunity to work with Kassandra in the past when I was going through a difficult time in my life. She was very easy to talk with and respected my feelings. She helped me to work through some of my concerns, and to help me with my future goals.
I have reached out to talk to her after our time and she has always been there to talk with me. I am grateful to have found her. If I am in need of help again, I would not hesitate to contact her again.
